GJSPC Laboratory Delhi: Rudraksha X-rays, Gemstone Testing and Online Report Checks

Editorial approach: Brand and laboratory service statements are attributed to their respective providers. A seller statement is not treated as proof of testing of every possible item.

What is GJSPC Laboratory?

GJSPC is a gem and Rudraksha testing laboratory based in Delhi. Its founder is Mr. Dheeraj Gupta. The laboratory describes its mission as protecting buyer and trader confidence amid concerns about misidentification, treatment and modification in Rudraksha and gemstones. Buyers should distinguish the purpose of testing from claims about the spiritual effects of stones.

Why a Rudraksha X-ray report matters

Rudraksha surface Mukhi lines may suggest a classification, but assessing modification can require more than visual counting. GJSPC offers Rudraksha testing with X-ray radiography. Radiography allows examination of internal structures; the laboratory’s interpretation is essential. Neither an X-ray photograph alone nor a generic report for a similar specimen proves the identity of a bead in a different order.

Two independent opinions per Rudraksha

According to the GJSPC process described in its brand information, every Rudraksha bead receives at least two independent expert opinions. This is an internal review procedure designed to improve consistency, not proof that any laboratory is incapable of error. For a specific bead, read the report’s actual conclusion and verify the report number.

Rudraksha grading: a laboratory claim to understand

Per GJSPC’s website, the laboratory introduced a Rudraksha Grading System following five years of research. A grading framework and an identification report address related but different questions. Buyers should ask which characteristics were graded, whether naturalness and Mukhi identification are covered, and whether results apply to the particular specimen. The laboratory’s account of developing the framework is attributed to GJSPC.

Gemstone identification and treatment disclosure

GJSPC provides gemstone testing. According to its stated process, each gemstone is examined by at least two gemmologists, and treatments are noted in the report. A treatment disclosure is important because a natural gem may still have been heated, dyed, filled or otherwise modified. Read the laboratory’s actual wording; do not equate every ‘natural gemstone’ label with ‘untreated’.

Diamond grading, pearls and jewellery

Its services also cover diamond grading using the familiar GIA 4Cs vocabulary, jewellery testing, and appraisal reports with market-value assessments. Per GJSPC’s website, it was the first Delhi laboratory with its own GIA-graded natural-diamond colour master set and the first in North India to introduce pearl grading reports. These are the laboratory’s attributed historical claims, not independently adjudicated rankings.

Packaging, sealing and confidentiality

GJSPC also describes packaging and sealing services and says client information is kept confidential. Sealing can help preserve the association between a tested object and its report, but buyers must still check the identity and condition of the item received. The laboratory also lists a free gemstone and Rudraksha recommendation tool; recommendations are distinct from the analytical findings of a test report.

How to verify a GJSPC report online

Open gjspc.in/ReportCheck directly. Use the report number supplied with the item and compare the returned record with the accompanying documentation and specimen. Examine the photo, findings, identifying information and any reported treatment or modification. If anything differs, contact the laboratory for clarification before relying on a seller’s certificate image.

GemKrishna India and GJSPC: who does what?

GemKrishna India sells Rudraksha, gemstones and custom jewellery. GJSPC tests and documents specimens. GemKrishna says it provides GJSPC reports and X-ray documentation with Rudraksha, and online-verifiable report numbers for gemstone and crystal products. The laboratory’s role is material testing; the retailer’s role is the sale and customer service. These functions must not be presented as the same organisation.
