GemKrishna’s Rudraksha page is designed around individual bead choices rather than a single price for all mukhi. This step-by-step buyer guide explains the live catalogue’s published choices, the difference between a sample report and the report for your purchase, and the optional religious services.

Step 1 — select the Rudraksha type

Open GemKrishna’s Rudraksha buying page. It lists 49 types, spanning common 1–21 mukhi categories and selected special forms such as Gauri Shankar, Garbh Gauri and Ganesh. The page includes Nepal, Indonesian/Java, Himalayan and Indian classifications. A type’s starting price does not necessarily apply to its other size variants.

Step 2 — choose origin and size

Compare the exact diameter or size band shown in the product card, not merely ‘large’ or ‘premium’. For varieties shown as one size with no mm specification, the page directs buyers to ask on WhatsApp for exact measurements. This is particularly helpful when planning a comfortable bracelet, pendant or mala.

Step 3 — decide whether you need an individual GJSPC report

GemKrishna states that a report is included with each loose Rudraksha priced ₹1,000 or more. For lower-priced loose beads, choose the additional GJSPC report option at ₹150 per bead. Sample laboratory numbers shown on the catalogue correspond to similar specimens and are not necessarily the document issued for the precise bead purchased.

Step 4 — clarify X-ray testing

The page includes an X-ray for premium loose beads priced above ₹1,999. For other beads, ask via the seller’s WhatsApp channel and obtain confirmation of any additional testing charge and lead time. Do not assume a laboratory report necessarily includes an X-ray unless the selected item says so.

Step 5 — review delivery and payment

The current catalogue states free shipping across India above ₹500 and ₹200 shipping for orders at ₹500 or less. It describes ready orders as usually dispatched within 24 hours and customized orders within a week. Customers may pay fully online or use a 20% advance with the remainder on delivery where that option is offered. Shipping time after dispatch is separate from preparation time.

Step 6 — optional energisation

GemKrishna lists an optional Pooja and Pran Pratishtha service for ₹499 or ₹1,999 with video. This is a traditional religious service, not a laboratory assessment of naturalness and not scientific validation of spiritual efficacy. Check whether the service is selected before payment.

Step 7 — verify on arrival

Retain the product description, selected size and invoice, then compare the received bead with its supplied documentation. Where a GJSPC report was included or added, verify it via the issuing laboratory’s website. Where the product differs from the order, document the discrepancy and contact the seller promptly.

Custom bracelets and malas follow their own terms

The individual loose-bead report and X-ray thresholds should not be copied automatically to a custom Rudraksha bracelet, mala or kantha. Review the relevant builder’s specifications for strand length, bead quantity, closures, testing scope and delivery time.
